Janet wants everyone to know she is putting all her hard earned miles towards a great cause – The Siskiyou Land Trust.
The Siskiyou Land Trust (SLT) is a community based, non-profit organization that strives to protect open space, ranch and farmlands, forest and wetlands, natural resources, scenic viewsheds and wildlife habitat in beautiful Siskiyou County, California. Founded in 1983 to promote long-term land stewardship in Siskiyou County, they work with willing landowners, agencies, and organizations to acquire land and conservation easements through a variety of flexible approaches, many of which offer significant tax benefits to the landowner.
